My School Library Vision Statement:

I hope to create an environment that encourages students and staff alike to engage in information-seeking behavior that helps to foster their own curiosity and creativity. It is my responsibility to provide access to services and materials that support the school curriculum and allow users to flourish in the school community. The library should be a safe place where people can have fun learning, learn to love reading, and explore information literacy skills that will serve them in all areas of their lives. I believe it is my role as the librarian to be a resource for the students, teachers, administrators, and staff of the school and to support the educational environment in helping to create and motivate life-long learners.
